The Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ) collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
Participating institutions may opt-in to provide their data to OpenAPC as well, now Jülich’s own APC expeditures for 2022 have been integrated via the same mechanism.
The Central Library(ZB) of the Forschungszentrum Jülich is responsible for the management of publication cost data.

The new data set covers publication fees for 276 articles, total expenditure amounts to 612 078€ and the average fee is 2 218€.
