The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
When reporting their publication costs, the Alfred-Wegener-Institut Helmholtz-Zentrum für Polar- und Meeresforschung (Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research) had agreed to share the data with OpenAPC as well. This data has now been transferred and integrated.

The new data covers APCs for 149 articles (101 not related to any agreement, 48 published under an agreement like DEAL). Total APC expenditure amounts to 203,356€ and the average fee is 2,013€.
