The Forschungszentrum Jülich collects publication cost data from German institutions as part of the DFG programme “Open Access Publication Funding”.
Participating institutions may opt-in to provide their data to OpenAPC as well, now Jülich’s own expenditures for 2024 have been integrated via the same mechanism.

The new data covers APCs for 235 articles (88 unrelated to any agreement, 147 published under an agreement like DEAL). Total APC expenditure amounts to 549,910€ and the average fee is 2,340€.
