Max Planck Digital Library reports its 2017 to 2025 APC expenditures


The Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) has reported its Gold APC expenditures for the 2017 to 2025 period.

MPDL provides institutional funding for Open Access publications for researchers affiliated with the Max Planck Society. MPDL makes use of central agreements with Open Access publishers.

The new data set covers publication fees for 5,124 articles, total expenditure amounts to 12,393,352€ and the average fee is 2,419€.
