We welcome the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Foundation (TiHo) as new contributing institution! The TiHo Library is in charge of the institution’s Open Access Publication Funds, which is receiving support by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) under its Open-Access Publishing Programme.

We welcome the UFZ (Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research) as new contributing institution! The UFZ Library manages the institute’s expenditures for Open Access publishing.

The University of Kassel has updated its APC expenditures, providing data for the 2016 period.

We are happy to announce our first successful data ingestion via OAI-PMH. In a collaboration with Regensburg University Library our colleagues there managed to include the OpenAPC metadata directly into their institutional repository where it can be harvested using the OAI-PMH protocol. This will make submissions via mail or pull requests unnecessary for Regensburg in the future, as OpenAPC will actively harvest the data in regular intervals.

The Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) has updated its APC expenditures for MDPI journals in 2016.

We welcome the IPN (Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education) as new contributing institution! The IPN Library manages the Institute’s Open Access publication fund which pays APCs for articles published by IPN scientists.

The Technische Universität Wien has updated its APC expenditures. The recent contribution by TU Wien’s University Library provides data for the 2016 period.

We welcome the University of Calgary as new contributing institution! The LCR (Libraries and Cultural Resources) manages Calgary’s Open Access Authors Fund which pays APCs for articles published in fully OA journals.
