The Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL) has reported its 2017 expenditures for articles published in Frontiers journals.

As a result of the first ESAC Offsetting Workshop 2016, the collection of articles published under offsetting contracts like the Springer Compact agreements has been established as a side project of OpenAPC. Data providers include the Austrian Academic Library Consortium (KEMÖ), the Max Planck Digital Library, VSNU / UKB for all Dutch universities, the Bibsam Consortium for Sweden and JISC Collections for the UK. The data collection starts with the first data from 2015, the years 2016 and 2017 are now completely available.

Bielefeld University has changed its workflows and will now provide APC data directly via its institutional repository PUB. An initial data set has been harvested via OAI-PMH.

New APC data was harvested from the institutional repository of Regensburg University, which had shifted to APC data provision via OAI-PMH one year ago.

Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) has updated its APC expenditures, providing data for the 2017 period.

The Freie Universität Berlin has updated its APC expenditures, providing cost data for the 2017 period.

Heidelberg University has updated its APC expenditures. The recent contribution contains Heidelberg’s APC data for the 2017 and 2018 periods and adds additional data for 2016.

The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) has reported its APC expenditures for the 2017 period.
